🇬🇧 This easy 18 km cycling route starts in the center of Malinska and takes you through a mix of coastline, forests and open fields. Right at the beginning, you pass the DubOak Maritime Heritage Center before following the seaside promenade towards Porat.
In Porat, you can visit the 15th century Franciscan Monastery of St Mary Magdalene, an important cultural and historical site. The route then leads up to Fumak, a hill with a large cross and a beautiful panoramic view over the Rijeka Bay.
From there, the trail continues through peaceful landscapes with olive groves, meadows and forest areas. Along the way, you reach the old cemetery of St Apollinaris and its bell tower, once the center of Dubašnica, later abandoned due to malaria.
The route loops through small villages and hamlets like Barušići and Oštorobradići before returning to Malinska. Perfect for a relaxed ride with a mix of nature and history.

🇩🇪 Diese einfache 18 km lange Fahrradtour startet im Zentrum von Malinska und führt dich durch eine abwechslungsreiche Landschaft aus Küste, Wald und Feldern. Gleich zu Beginn kommst du am DubOak Zentrum vorbei und folgst anschließend der Promenade Richtung Porat.
In Porat lohnt sich ein Besuch des Franziskanerklosters aus dem 15. Jahrhundert. Danach geht es weiter zum Hügel Fumak mit seinem großen Kreuz und einem schönen Blick über die Bucht von Rijeka.
Die Strecke führt anschließend durch ruhige Natur mit Olivenhainen, Wiesen und Wäldern. Unterwegs erreichst du den alten Friedhof St Apollinaris mit seinem Glockenturm, dem ehemaligen Zentrum von Dubašnica.
Über kleine Dörfer wie Barušići und Oštorobradići geht es zurück nach Malinska. Perfekt für eine entspannte Tour mit Natur und Geschichte.

🇭🇷 Ova lagana biciklistička ruta duga 18 km počinje u centru Malinske i vodi kroz obalu, šume i polja. Na početku prolaziš pored DubOak centra, a zatim pratiš šetnicu uz more prema Poratu.
U Poratu možeš posjetiti franjevački samostan sv Marije Magdalene iz 15. stoljeća. Ruta zatim vodi do brda Fumak s velikim križem i lijepim pogledom na Riječki zaljev.
Dalje prolazi kroz mirnu prirodu s maslinicima, livadama i šumama. Usput dolaziš do starog groblja sv Apolinara s zvonikom, nekadašnjeg središta Dubašnice.
Ruta se vraća kroz sela poput Barušića i Oštorobradića natrag u Malinsku. Idealno za opuštenu vožnju kroz prirodu i povijest.
