Sensa 2026 – Traditional Cheese Festival in Malinska
🇬🇧 Sensa 2026 Cheese Festival takes place in Malinska and the Dubašnica area on the island of Krk. This traditional cultural and gastronomic event is rooted in the local custom “teć za sir” (the run for cheese) and reflects the connection between the community, agriculture and long-standing pastoral traditions. The festival is linked to the Feast of the Ascension, when cheese is blessed in the parish church of St. Apollinaris in Bogovići, followed by the traditional race of young men.
