Krk Music Fest – Because Music Knows No Boundaries

🇬🇧 The Krk Music Fest takes place annually around June 21st, celebrating World Music Day and the beginning of summer. The festival offers a diverse musical program, from modern acoustic performances to traditional folk music, including the distinctive two-part singing recognised by UNESCO as intangible cultural heritage. Visitors can enjoy live performances, a vibrant atmosphere, and a street food corner that complements the musical experience.

Music, tradition and cultural heritage

The festival brings together local and international musicians who perform across different genres, creating a unique cultural experience. Highlights include performances by folklore ensembles presenting the traditional Krk tanac dance, as well as the Krk Brass Orchestra, founded in 1832. Set against the medieval backdrop of the town of Krk, the event combines music, heritage, and summer ambiance.
