🇬🇧 Discover the maritime history of Krk and Crikvenica at the exhibition "First on the Adriatic", on display from 5 July to 30 August 2026 in Šilo.
The exhibition tells the story of the legendary ferry Bodulka, which operated the Crikvenica–Šilo ferry route and became the first ferry service on the Adriatic. You'll also learn about the development of the Port of Crikvenica, historic steamship connections, the origins of Šilo, and how these transport links eventually led to the construction of the Krk Bridge.
The event also celebrates the launch of the traditional wooden boat Jaruška, highlighting the rich maritime heritage of the region.
The exhibition is open daily from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM, and admission is free.

Im Mittelpunkt steht die legendäre Fähre Bodulka, die die Strecke Crikvenica–Šilo bediente und als erste Autofähre an der Adria Geschichte schrieb. Außerdem erfährst du mehr über die Entwicklung des Hafens von Crikvenica, historische Dampfschifflinien, die Entstehung von Šilo sowie darüber, wie diese Verkehrsverbindungen schließlich zum Bau der Krk-Brücke beitrugen.
Begleitet wird die Ausstellung vom Stapellauf des traditionellen Holzbootes Jaruška, das das maritime Erbe der Region würdigt.

Posjetitelji mogu saznati više o razvoju crikveničke luke, parobrodskim linijama, nastanku mjesta Šilo te o prometnim vezama koje su na kraju dovele do izgradnje Krčkog mosta.
Događaj uključuje i porinuće tradicionalne drvene brodice Jaruška, kojom se slavi pomorska baština ovoga kraja.
