🇬🇧 This easy cycling route takes you through the beautiful Baška Valley while discovering one of Croatia’s most important cultural stories – the Glagolitic heritage.
Starting in Baška, the trail leads towards Zarok and follows the stream of Vela Rika, the only permanent river on Adriatic islands. Along the way, you’ll pass green fields, grazing sheep and stone sculptures of the Glagolitic alphabet, a unique symbol of the region.
A highlight is the view from Goričica hill over the entire valley, as well as the historic site in Jurandvor, where you can visit the Church of St Lucy and see a replica of the famous Baška Tablet.
This route is perfect for beginners and anyone looking for a relaxed mix of nature, culture and light activity.

Ruta počinje u Baški i vodi prema Zaroku te uz rijeku Vela Rika, jedinu stalnu rijeku na jadranskim otocima. Putem prolaziš kroz zelene livade, uz stada ovaca i kamene skulpture glagoljice.
Poseban doživljaj je pogled s brda Goričica te posjet Jurandvoru i crkvi sv. Lucije gdje se nalazi replika Bašćanske ploče.
Idealno za početnike i opuštenu vožnju kroz prirodu i kulturu.
